Brooke Hester didn’t allow a single run against Roswell, throwing a complete game shutout and leading Cherokee Lady Warriors to a 5-0 victory on Tuesday
A single by Tatum Armstrong in the second inning was a positive for Roswell.
Hester got the win for the Cherokee Warriors. She allowed four hits and zero runs over seven innings, striking out four and walking zero.
Savannah Nolan took the loss for Roswell. She lasted four innings, allowing three hits and two runs while striking out one.
The Warriors collected six hits. Bailey Knaggs and Gracie Mixson each collected multiple hits for Cherokee. Mixson and Knaggs each collected two hits to lead the Warriors Varsity. Cherokee was sure-handed and didn’t commit a single error. Knaggs made the most plays with 11.
Hannah Gore went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Roswell in hits.
